The reactive glaze used interacts with naturally occurring minerals in the clay and creates an irregular, cascading finish that is unique for every cup. Olympia's artisans hand-paint a rim onto the cup with a glaze that has been specially developed to be translucent and create small drips, adding even more individuality and character to each piece.
